The Bahamas San Salvador Island is located in the southeastern Bahamas. The island is approximately 12 miles long and 5 miles wide with the population of approximately 1000 people. San Salvador Island has beautiful white sand beaches and the water is a beautiful clear blue. The island is about 375 miles from Florida making San Salvador easy to access with flights from Nassau Bahamas and South Florida.

San Salvador is home to many shallow reefs providing both divers and snorkelers the opportunity to view a beautiful reef with several types of fish and coral.

In addition, the clear and clam waters are perfect for those who enjoy fishing.
