Larry Friedman - Operations Director, PADI Course Director

Larry was the 1st President of the University of Iowa Scuba club and is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He has lived in South Florida since 1990.

Larry has been a PADI Course Director since 1996 and diving since 1973!!

He  specializes in groups, dive clubs and dive shops, along with individuals & families. He has traveled to many places in the Caribbean such as Bonaire, Turks & Caicos, Saba, Belize, Roatan, Statia, Cozumel, Curacao and others. Larry is amazing at creating specialized dive trips, and there is very little that he can not accomplish. He has arranged weddings, dive safaris, multi island tours etc. Larry has worked at several dive shops in Florida and has a very good understanding of equipment as well. Larry is our air expert too !!. If there is a way to get you there, Larry can find it and usually at an unbeatable price. He also was the person that assisted Bonaire Excel to be able to issue their tickets in the United States. He is our expert in not only travel, but diving education as well. Larry is always willing to listen and guide you to get you the best value, and the vacation that you want.

"Besides diving Larry is an avid baseball fan. He played college ball, has coached in Little League and is currently the umpire in chief for Florida District 10 Little League. So, feel free to call Larry and discuss diving or baseball. By the way, he is a Chicago Cubs fan !!"

Peggy Szoke - Director of Group Sales

Peggy hails from the North Shore area of Boston, Massachusetts and has been diving extensively for 25 years. In her dive travels, she has visited many Central American and Caribbean destinations including Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Dominica, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Roatan, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos and the ABC Islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.
 
With almost 20 years experience in the dive travel industry, Peggy has accepted the position of Director of Group Sales with H2O Tours.  She will oversee all types of group travel, including the coordination of dive seminars and various specialty trips in order to best accommodate her clients. When Peggy is not underwater taking photographs or making unbelievable vacation plans for her clients, she enjoys fishing (both fresh and saltwater), camping, and boating.  Besides being a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, she is also a member of the Boston Sector US Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Emily Parham - Cayman Island Specialist, & Exotic Island tours!

Emily, a native of Belize, has been in dive travel for the past 9 years focusing on the Cayman Islands and working with liveaboard groups around the globe.  Her knowledge is not limited to the Cayman Islands, she is extremely knowledgeable with most of the Caribbean locations and exotic places like Fiji.

Sherry Harper - Marketing Director

Sherry joins H2O from the insurance industry.  Her experience in marketing and sales over the past 10 years bring H2O a wealth of knowledge and experience in new and innovative ways of utilizing specialty print and digital media to remain in contact with divers throughout the world.  She will be focusing on implementing new techniques for bringing the expanding adventure enthusiast into the world of diving. 
Sherry lived in Key West were her love for the water and snorkeling continues to influence her respect and admiration for the dive industry as well as conservation initiatives.

Daniel Barrera - Attorney/Accountant

Daniel joins H2O from the legal profession and has over 10 years of travel industry experience with many years specifically related to dive travel.  Daniel was also the Finance Director for one of the worlds largest marine travel leaders as well as the CFO for a wholesale dive operator before moving into the legal profession.  He started diving in 1994 on a trip to Puerto Vallarta Mexico and has not stopped since.   Daniel’s main focus is the practice of law but dedicates a vast amount of time to H2O and the dive industry.  

Mr. Barrera received his Juris Doctorates from Texas Southern University School of Law and has three Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting, Finance and General Business. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and is a member of The Texas Bar Association and Texas Association of Trial Lawyers.
